I’m working on a couple of projects:
Operating Houseboats and Cruisers
After a lot of decades operating boats of various sizes, I’ve come to realize that there is no real place to coalesce the knowledge necessary for safe and efficient operation of these vessels. I’m putting together a comprehensive operations guide in partnership with experienced boat handlers and marine experts. My goal is to have it out for the 2024 boating season.
Aviator Stories
As part of writing Memoir of an Aviator, I have stories that simply would not fit in that book. I’m assembling them and adding anecdotes about my favorite subject – aircrew members and their antics. This will give me something to do over the winter when it’s too cold to fish.
The Rotorheads
I love helicopter pilots and their stories. I’m going to be gathering information through interviewing helicopter pilots, aka ‘Rotorheads’ and developing a format to discuss their training, scariest experiences, memorable characters they have known, and others.
